About Anna

I have got 20 years’ experience of delivering brilliant marketing and communication solutions across many sectors (finance, not-for-profit, arts and culture). While I have worked within commercial business my heart lies in working with charities, voluntary sector and arts and cultural clients.  My primary focus is to help organisations identify who they need to engage with, clearly communicate their offer, raise their profile and ultimately help them sustain their business

I have a natural flair for fitting into teams quickly; encouraging and sharing knowledge and best practice, delivering on time and to budget. I don’t provide any ‘off the shelf’ solutions. I listen to what you need, discuss the options with you and then ensure you get the results you want.

Born in London and now living happily in Leeds. I love marketing and communications (and talking!) and combine this with my passion for working with charities, arts and cultural clients.

I spent the first few years of my career in the Communications department of Abbey National (now Banco Santander) gaining solid experience in the Press Office, Events management, copywriting and internal communications teams.

After gaining my Communications, Advertising and Marketing Diploma (CAM) I set off on my round the world travels returning to settle in Leeds.

I immediately gained a position at a local housing association and was tasked with setting up and delivering their Marketing and Communications function and raise their profile amongst key stakeholders such as funders, local councils and other support services. It is here that my commitment to working with not-for-profit organisations was born.

A few years later my next career move saw me join &Co The cultural marketing house as Marketing and Campaigns Manager which after a couple of years expansion developed into a Client Services Director role. My 6 years with &Co gave me experience in delivering research, strategic and tactical marketing advice, training, workshop facilitation, campaign management and conference presentations to over 70 clients in the cultural sector including Arts Council England, York Theatre Royal, and numerous Yorkshire councils.

I am now excited to be delivering directly to charities, arts and cultural clients and using my expertise to help them ensure their marketing gets results.
